Prime Minister Talented Pakistan Program – Batch no 2

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has recently taken the initiative in launching the Talented Pakistan Program Batch number 2, open to more than 700 admissions which have been officially announced encompassing the standard institutes and industrial sectors around 200 Plus Hi Tech and traditional departmental courses.

According to this particular scheme, the duration of the courses is ranged between three to six months and it is free of cost in terms of Hi-Tech, Digital, IT Industrial and Conventional Technologies aiming towards the Youth of Pakistan to promote the engagement of the Youth community of Pakistan within the mainstream line.

Phases of the Program:

After the successful completion of the first phase whereby 20000 Plus young individuals were up-skilled across more than 150 Departments as per the Global Standards of Training by the current Government of Pakistan.

In fact due the successful completion of the training by the youngster community, the impact has proven to be very effective and plays a vital role within the development of the country.

As a result to the phase one success, it is now time to launch phase 2.

In accordance to the scheme, more than 700 institutions have been selected such as universities, technical institutes and industrial/ vocational sectors.

Phase 2 consists of 50,000 plus young individuals who will benefit from the training in terms of Skills Training Program as per the Global standards across 200 Plus different departments.

In line with the phase 2 scheme, applications across Pakistan are welcomed within the same spectrum by the Government of Pakistan.

Components of the 2nd Phase:

The following are the major Components of the 2nd phase of the program that have been designed and offered in the Prime Ministers’ Talented Pakistan Program.

Hi-Tech / High and Skill Development Program:

This tailored program caters for the training of 50000 young individuals approximately across Pakistan in the sectors of Hi-Tech, Industrial Revolution, Digital Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Advance Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics and Internet of Things, to enable the young individuals to sustain employment and progression. It will also enable them to have a better lifestyle as a result to their job outcomes.

Similarly, in February 2020, 16000 young individuals received training across Pakistan and are currently still in training within the most reliable institutes, universities and training centers across the country in various regions.

Conventional/ Traditional Skill Development Program:

This Prime Minister Talented Pakistan Program batch 2 targets the young individuals who are from deprived areas in Pakistan namely Balochistan, AJK, Gilgit Baltistan (GB), South Punjab and Ruler Sindh.

Those areas will receive training in traditional departments with respect to Skills. In addition to that, all those areas where Human Development Index is less than Standard Development Index, the Youth community of Pakistan within those areas will also be attached in terms of Traditional Departmental Training as per the scheme of the program within the same component.

The selected individuals will be given training within the major cities of Pakistan including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta and Rawalpindi in renowned Training Institutes Free of Cost and in addition to that they will be provided with accommodation facility, transportation, food and beverage funded by the current Government of Pakistan. The core purpose of the whole program is to develop and deliver the initiatives towards the youth of Pakistan, specifically belonging to the most deprived areas of the country aiming for the betterment of employment opportunities.

According to the scheme, of the same program launched in 2020 had more than 20000 youngsters who enrolled on the program and are still in training and are benefiting from the Standard Training from renowned universities, Technical and Training Institutions of Pakistan.
