Islamabad: Federal Directorate of education (FDE) has issues exceptional guideline for opening private schools and colleges in Islamabad to avert the spread of COVID-19.

In an announcement issue on Tuesday, it was affirmed that Saturday shall stay open throughout this academic sitting for all educational institutions.

FDE Notification States that

  • Total numbers of periods will be 7 per day
  • Head of the organizations shall use the given templates to design native timetables
  • Head of the establishments have to come 30 minutes earlier then institute timings
  • Students shall be called in groups
  • No break shall be observed during the schooling
  • Tuck shops should remain closed
  • Temperature shall be checked in the entry points of the schools
  • Sensitization and hand wash shall be ensured of every student and staff
  • Entry in the schools and colleges without masks are strictly banned by FDE
  • Disinfect the buildings and buses everyday
  • Washrooms shall be cleaned daily
  • Ensure the availability of soaps in every institute
  • Morning shift will be from 8.30am to 1.30pm
  • Evening shift will be from 1.45pm to 6.45pm
  • During those shifts 7 periods shall be completed
